Liberals commit to upgrades for Warragamba community
An elected Dutton Liberal Government has committed to delivering $650,000 in upgrades to outdoor spaces for the Warragamba community.
$350,000 has been committed to by the Liberals for an off-leash dog area near the Warragamba Dam Tourism Centre in the East Precinct.
A further $300,000 has been committed to by the Liberals for upgrades to the playground, including a shade structure, at Warragamba Recreation Reserve.
Shadow Treasurer and Federal Member for Hume, Angus Taylor, said Warragamba is booming as a place to raise a family and that it is essential that the community has access to top facilities to accommodate for this growth.
“These commitments highlight how important it is to have safe and accessible areas for our growing community to enjoy the active lifestyle which is possible in Warragamba.
“Upgrades such as these will bring mental health benefits from connecting our community with family, friends and, of course, their four-legged companions,” Mr Taylor said.
These commitments are part of the Liberals’ plan to strengthen our local communities and to get Australia back on track.
