Exeter Tennis Club big winner in local grants
Federal Member for Hume Angus Taylor has congratulated Exeter Tennis Club on successfully applying for $20,000 under the Stronger Communities Programme to upgrade their clubhouse.
Mr Taylor joined Exeter Tennis Club member, Greg Wilkins, to discuss the upgrades to be carried out on the clubhouse and repair work to the courts.
"The Stronger Communities Programme aims to improve community participation by funding a small capital project," Mr Taylor said.
"This project will deliver huge social benefit for a small, local club and ensure this important community facility is kept in good condition for the community to use."

Narellan Men’s Shed - $13,500 - Installation of dust extraction system
Goulburn District Junior Stockmen Football Club - $10,000 - Upgrade of shed
Southern Tablelands Art Inc. - $7,388 - Gunning Railway Station art display
Goulburn Crookwell Heritage Railway - $11,715 - Upgrade of fencing and gates
Bundanoon Men’s Shed - $10,000 - Installation of dust extraction system
Menangle Men’s Shed - $2,899 - Purchase of portable toilet
Goulburn CWA Branch - $5,000 - Upgrade to kitchen
Federal funding grants of between $5,000 and $20,000 for small capital projects were available under Round 7 of the Stronger Communities Programme.
