Delivering for Boorowa: local infrastructure investment tops $90 million, new agribusinesses double in number
Federal Member for Hume Angus Taylor has outlined the wins for the Boorowa region under the Coalition Government. What’s happening around Boorowa >>
“I was out at the new Ag Research Station on Cunningar Road and it’s fantastic to hear about the world-leading research already underway,” Mr Taylor said.
“This is going to drive generational change in broadacre and livestock agriculture and it seems fitting that Boorowa will be at the centre of all of this.
“I’ll be working with newly-elected Member for Goulburn Wendy Tuckerman, a Boorowa local, to keep opening up more opportunities for growth, such as the major expansion for Burrowa House, which will also be backed by Federal funding.
“As we all know, connectivity is critical for this area. There are new mobile base stations coming for Frogmore and Reids Flat, which follow the switch-on of the Rye Park mobile tower, extended 4G coverage across the district and the nbn rollout locally.
