Coalition will prioritise more infrastructure for Goulburn
Angus Taylor says Goulburn Mulwaree will continue to receive major Federal infrastructure backing if the Coalition is returned to government.
“Our record of delivery is strong,” Mr Taylor said.
“The Coalition is investing billions of dollars in infrastructure projects in Hume to boost the local economy and improve the communities where we live and work.
“The $18.6 million Lansdowne Bridge rebuild is one of the big items soon to be completed.”

Hume is well progressed - 93% of the electorate is ready to connect – or 69,050 premises can order an NBN service.

Mobile Black Spot Program (MBSP)
- 11 Mobile phone towers for Hume, including Golspie, Windellama and Tarlo towers in the Goulburn Mulwaree region
- New small cell base stations for Bungonia, Wayo and Wombeyan Caves, 3 of 6 new base stations for Hume.
- $1.79 mill (Total investment by Federal Government in Hume under MBSP)
Federal licence for 144 new aged care places in Goulburn under 2018-19 ACAR round (announced April 2019).
Safer Communities funding - Federal funding of $84,233 for Goulburn Mulwaree Council to install a higher quality CCTV camera system with broader coverage in Belmore Park to increase public safety. Funding committed under Round Two of the Coalition’s $40 million Safer Communities Fund.
Safer Communities funding - Goulburn Mulwaree Council / Victoria Park Goulburn CCTV Project, Stage 2 / $180,000 Goulburn Mulwaree Council will install a twenty-one camera CCTV system, providing oversight of key park infrastructure and bollards at five access ways, to prevent unauthorised vehicles from entering the area.
