“I’m backing the PM’s call to support civil action against trespassers who try to stop primary production,” Angus Taylor said. "I condemn in the strongest way the actions of protestors at Goulburn’s Southern Meats this week.

“The police handled the situation very professionally, but the activists should face the full force of the law.

“Our farmers, our abattoirs and rural businesses work hard, to world’s best practice, through drought, and this is what they have to cop.

“The Prime Minister has made it clear the Commonwealth is totally open to supporting any farmers or businesses who are in a position to bring a civil action against these green-collared criminals. I back that.”
