7 April 2014

Federal Member for Hume Angus Taylor has launched a Village Visits program across Hume and will be in the Young and Cootamundra areas this week.

Angus said he would welcome any and all inquiries. “This is a chance to meet new friends and catch up with some older ones. Please come up and say hello. As the new Federal Member for Hume I am keen to meet and talk with as many people as I can across the electorate. I would like to hear what issues are important and see if I can solve any problems of a Federal nature.

“During the election last year, I travelled to 70 villages across Hume and enjoyed it so much, I’m doing it again. I hope to do this every year,” he said.

Angus will be at the following locations on Wednesday 9 April:

9-10am Stockinbingal Park / 10am Stockinbingal Public School / 2 – 3.30pm Maimuru Public School

Angus will be at the following locations on Thursday 10 April:

8.45am Bribbaree Public School / 9-10.30am Bribbaree Bowling Club / 11am -12 midday Quandialla Bowling Club, Quandialla Central School, Quandialla Café / 1.30pm Caragabal Public School / 2-3pm Caragabal main street (median strip)

“I appreciate this is the start of sowing for many in the district, so I know I will miss a lot of you. I’m looking forward to hearing how the season’s looking, meeting some families at local schools and taking a drive through some great looking country at the moment.

“If you would like a one on one meeting while I’m in your area, please give the Cowra electorate office a call on 6341 1106 and we will organise a private appointment. Or please send me an email angus.taylor.mp@aph.gov.au if I miss catching up with you. I look forward to seeing as many people as possible this week.”
