ANGUS NEWSLETTER OUTLINES GOALS AND ACHIEVEMENTS FOR CAMDEN

Friday, 17 June 2016

Federal Member for Hume Angus Taylor has outlined his goals and achievements for the greater Camden area in newsletters arriving in mailboxes.

Mr Taylor and the Coalition Government are getting the job done - the investment of billions of dollars to upgrade the Northern, Narellan and Bringelly roads, more mobile phone coverage and 4G internet locally, the rolling out of the NBN and the filling of nearly 400 jobs in the Camden area in the past 10 months, through the jobactive programme.

“The newsletter is an important way for me to communicate to constituents the plans we have to support the incredible growth in this community,” Mr Taylor said.

“I’m proud that a core part of my platform as the Member for Hume and this Government’s platform as we go into the election is to support and encourage more local business people to get on, invest, grow and employ.

“There’s a real buzz among the region’s businesses right now and much of that can be attributed to Government policies, such as tax relief, that will make it easier for local businesses to grow and invest.

“The election is a choice between the Turnbull Coalition’s plan for a strong economy, with more jobs and opportunity, or Labor’s higher taxes, more waste and weak borders. Labor’s debt and dysfunction would undermine those opportunities and growth.”

The newsletter asks residents to complete a pre-election community survey and also includes:

* an outline of the multi billion dollar investment in the region’s arterial roads

* 400 jobs filled locally through jobactive

* local small business success stories, and

* the Coalition’s strong plan for Hume.

Newsletters have been arriving in mailboxes over recent days.
