Coalition will prioritise more infrastructure for the Upper Lachlan
Angus Taylor says the Upper Lachlan Shire will continue to receive major Federal infrastructure backing if the Coalition is returned to government.
“Our record of delivery is strong,” Mr Taylor said.
“The Coalition is investing billions of dollars in infrastructure projects in Hume to boost the local economy and improve the communities where we live and work.
“The Abercrombie River Bridge replacement is one of the big items soon to be completed.”

Hume is well progressed - 93% of the electorate is ready to connect – or 69,050 premises can order an NBN service. Estimated $32 million for nbn rollout in the Upper Lachlan.
Mobile Black Spot Program for Upper Lachlan (MBSP)
- 11 mobile phone towers for Hume, including Lost River, Rye Park, Laggan, Dalton, Golspie and Tarlo in the Upper Lachlan region
- New mobile small cell base stations announced for Wayo, Wombeyan Caves campground and Tuena exchange. Telstra mobile small cell already installed at Gunning.
- $1.79 mill total investment by Federal Government in Hume under MBSP
