“There’s a great story happening around Goulburn Mulwaree. You only have to walk down Auburn Street to see the crowds in the local cafes, the activity in the cbd and construction around town,” Mr Taylor said.

“Goulburn has topped the Hume electorate for the number of new businesses opening in the past 12 months, a total of 80 and a new supermarket has just opened at Marulan.

“The Federal Government is investing many tens of millions of dollars here in major infrastructure projects.

“We’ve just announced new mobile base stations for Bungonia, Wayo and Wombeyan Caves, following mobile towers switched on at Tarlo, Golspie and Windellama and extended 4G coverage for much of the district.

“It has been a great pleasure to confirm Federal funding for 144 new aged care beds in Goulburn, an acknowledgment of the growth that is going to continue to drive the local economy.
