Prepolling opens in Goulburn tomorrow, Tuesday 14 June, allowing voters to vote ahead of polling day on Saturday 2 July.

The prepoll centre is located at 2/104 Clinton Street, next door to Southern Plumbing Plus.

Doors open at 8.30am and close at 5.30pm for the first week of prepoll, then opening times vary slightly for the remaining two weeks of prepoll.

Federal Member for Hume Angus Taylor said a sizeable number of voters were expected to vote early and he encouraged people to do so thoughtfully.

“There are many reasons why this federal election is one of the most important in recent memory. I’m incredibly proud that a core part of my platform as the Member for Hume and this Government’s platform as we go into the next election is to support and encourage more local business people to get on, invest, grow and employ. 

“That’s my platform, that’s the Government’s platform and for Goulburn city and the smaller surrounding villages, that is the essence of what makes our communities and economies tick.” 

Other prepoll centres in Hume are located in Camden at the Camden Civic Centre, cnr Oxley and Mitchell Sts Camden and in Bowral at 351 Bong Bong St, Bowral.

Prepoll in Camden and Bowral will open from Monday 20 June.
