I completely reject the Labor candidate for Macarthur’s ‘crude’ comparison of the Manus Island detention centre to a concentration camp.

Statements from the candidate in today’s national media show that the public cannot trust Labor on border protection.

The Turnbull Government is clear we will not allow the horrific people smuggling trade to start up again, which resulted in so many deaths at sea under the last Labor government.
